Decruy Transport was established at the end of the 80s as a subsidiary to the furniture manufacturer MDR (Meubelen Decruy Rumbeke) and as a sister company to DH (Decruy Houthulst, see www.decruy.be), an industrial manufacturer of prefabricated parts for the furniture industry.  At that moment, MDR and DH both had already some lorries to supply the goods produced by the own factories to the customers in Belgium and abroad.  So, the step towards a wholly-owned transport company was not that big any more.

In the meantime, we have been operating for over 25 years and still our lorries are regular road users in Belgium and the neighbouring countries.  In spite of all the changes for hauliers and drivers during this quarter of a century (new legislation, more traffic jams, strong competition, etc...), we continue to offer our services with full enthusiasm to our customers.
